CIOTA （シオタ: est. 2019 a/w）

CIOTAは、岡山に本拠を構える縫製工場・
生地製造販売会社、
株式会社シオタが立ち上げた
アパレルブランドです。

私たちCIOTAの特徴は、原料の選別から、
生地のデザイン、
生地織り、洋服のデザイン、
縫製仕様の考案、縫製まで、
洋服作りにおける
すべての工程を自社で行えること。
そして、すべての工程に徹底的にこだわること。

例えば、コットン生地は、
すべて自社開発のオリジナルです。
原料にしているのは、インド南部でのみ栽培され、
世界の綿の生産量において
わずか数パーセントしか収穫できないという
最高級の貴重な超長繊細綿、スビンコットン*。
CIOTAのコットンには、
必ずスビンコットンが使用されていて、
それらはすべて私たちのエクスクルーシブ生地です。
その光沢はシルクのようで、
肌触りのなめらかさはカシミアに引けを取りません。

良質な生地は、ひらめきをもたらします。
CIOTAのデザインはトレンドではなく、
生地からのインスピレーションに従ったもの。
シンプルなデザインは、生地の個性を際立たせるため。
自社工場での縫製によって、素材を活かした、
ベーシックなコレクションを製作しています。


*スビンコットン
インド原産のスジャータ（SUJATA）綿と、
カリブ海の島国であるセントビンセント（St.VINCENT）で栽培されている海島綿との交種で、
それぞれの頭文字をとってスビン（SUVIN）と名付けられました。
超長繊細綿に分類され、とても長く細い繊維のため、
羽毛が少なく滑らかな肌触りの糸を作ることが出来ます。
また、手摘みによる収穫で最高の品質を維持しているのも特徴です。

CIOTA (Shiota: est. 2019 a/w)

CIOTA is a clothing maker founded by Shiota Co., ltd
which is a garment factory / fabric manufacturing and
sales company based in Okayama.

CIOTA carries out whole process of 
making clothes in-house, 
from selecting material, 
textile design, weaving fabric, 
designing clothing, 
sewing methods to sewing clothing,
and being particular about all process completely.

To give an example, 
the cotton fabric is all CIOTA’s original.
CIOTA takes up Suvin cotton* as main material 
that is grown in South India, 
and quite rare product 
because the cotton could be taken 
only a few percent 
of whole amount of production in the world.
CIOTA’s exclusive cotton fabric 
always made of Suvin cotton.
It shines like silk and the touches are like cashmere.

High quality fabric gives inspiration.
CIOTA designs not at trend but follow 
the inspiration of fabric.
The simple design highlights characters of fabric.
CIOTA makes basic collections 
in-house with high quality material.


*Suvin cotton
Suvin cotton is a hybrid with SUJATA cotton originally from India and 
Sea-island cotton grown in St. VINCENT in Caribbean.
“Suvin” is named after the first letters of “SUJATA” and “VINCENT”.
It is categorized as extra-ling staple cotton.
It has very long and delicate fibers, so the yarn becomes very smoothly.
Handpicking also the key to keep the quality.

*Cut and sewn products (T-shirts,Sweat shirts, any other products made of jersey) 
are made by subcontracted factories.

*A part of products made of woven fabrics are made by subcontracted factories.
